Cocktail Cocktail Recipe Ingredients Shaker Homemade Aperitif Kitchen Mixology Steps

Ingredients:

1.5 oz Irish whiskey
2 teaspoons brown sugar
4 oz hot coffee
1 oz heavy cream

Directions:

Preheat your Irish coffee glass by filling it with hot water. This will help keep your drink warmer for longer.
While your glass is warming up, prepare your hot coffee.
In a separate bowl, whisk the heavy cream until it is slightly thickened.
Discard the hot water from your glass and add in the Irish whiskey and brown sugar.
Pour in the hot coffee and stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
Using a spoon, carefully pour the whipped cream on top of the drink,
allowing a small amount to float on the surface of the coffee.
Serve your Irish Coffee immediately!
