The Recipe for Mint Julep
Welcome to Cocktail Connexion, where we present to you the classic Whiskey Sour recipe. This cocktail is a must-try for whiskey and mint enthusiasts. Get ready to delight your taste buds by following these simple steps.
Ingredients:
2 oz bourbon
0.75 oz simple syrup
6-8 fresh mint leaves
Crushed ice
Instructions:
In a Julep cup or whiskey glass, muddle the mint leaves with the simple syrup using a muddler.
Add about 1/3 of the glass with crushed ice and stir lightly to mix everything together.
Next, pour 2 oz of bourbon over the crushed ice and stir lightly again to incorporate the bourbon into the mixture.
Add the rest of the crushed ice to the top of the glass.
For decoration, you can add a fresh mint sprig on top.
