Ingredients:

2 oz whiskey

0.75 oz fresh lemon juice

0.75 oz cane sugar syrup

6-8 fresh mint leaves

Club soda

Steps:

In a shaker, muddle the mint leaves with the cane sugar syrup. Add the whiskey, fresh lemon juice, and fill the shaker with ice.

Shake vigorously for about 10 seconds.

Strain the mixture into a whiskey glass filled with ice.

Top up with club soda.

Garnish with a fresh mint leaf and a slice of lemon if desired.
