• 0.67 oz Cointreau (or other orange liqueur)
• 1.33 oz orange juice
• 0.67 oz lime juice
• 0.33 oz grenadine syrup
• Salt
• Orange slices and cherries for garnish
• Ice

Instructions:

Start by preparing the glass: moisten the rim of a margarita glass with a lime wedge, then dip it in salt to form a salt rim.

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add 2 oz of tequila, 0.67 oz of Cointreau, 1.33 oz of orange juice, and 0.67 oz of lime juice.

Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to mix the ingredients and chill the mixture.

In the prepared margarita glass, pour 0.33 oz of grenadine syrup in the bottom.

Add fresh ice to the glass, then gently pour the tequila and citrus mixture on top of the grenadine syrup.

Add orange slices and cherries for garnish.
