Cocktail Cocktail Recipe Ingredients Shaker Homemade Aperitif Kitchen Mixology Steps

Ingredients:

2 oz whiskey (bourbon or rye)
1 oz sweet red vermouth
2 dashes orange bitters ice cubes
1 maraschino cherry (for garnish)

Instructions:

  • Pour ice cubes into a mixing glass.
  • Add whiskey, sweet red vermouth, and 2 dashes of orange bitters to the mixing glass.
  • Stir the ingredients with a mixing spoon for about 20 seconds to blend flavors and chill the mixture.
  • Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass.
  • Add a maraschino cherry on a skewer or drop it directly into the cocktail glass.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your Manhattan!
Note: The Manhattan can also be served with an orange or lemon slice for garnish, depending on preference. You can also adjust the proportions of the ingredients to achieve the desired taste.
