The Recipe for Old Fashionned

Ingredients:
1 sugar cube
2 dashes of bitters (Angostura)
1 tablespoon of water
2 oz whiskey (bourbon or rye)
1 orange peel
1 cherry (for garnish)
Instructions:
- In a whiskey glass, place the sugar cube, two dashes of bitters, and a tablespoon of water.
- Mash the sugar cube with a spoon until it is completely dissolved in the water and bitters.
- Add ice to the glass.
- Pour 2 oz of whiskey (bourbon or rye) into the glass.
- Stir gently with a spoon to mix the ingredients.
- Run an orange peel along the rim of the glass to release the orange oils, then add the peel to the glass.
- Garnish with a cherry.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your Old Fashioned!
Note: You can adjust the proportions of the ingredients to achieve the desired taste. You can also use simple syrup instead of a sugar cube and add other garnishes, such as a lemon slice or a sprig of rosemary.
