Strawberry Basil Vodka Smash – Herbaceous and Sweet Freshness

The Strawberry Basil Vodka Smash is a modern, mouthwatering, and ultra-refreshing cocktail. It blends the sweetness of fresh strawberries with the herbal freshness of basil, enhanced by a splash of lime juice and vodka. • 5 cl vodka
• 3 to 4 fresh strawberries
• 4 fresh basil leaves
• 2 cl fresh lime juice
• 2 cl simple syrup
• 5 cl sparkling water (optional)
• Garnish: whole strawberry, basil leaf, lime wheel

1. In a shaker, muddle the strawberries and basil with the lime juice and simple syrup.
2. Add the vodka and ice cubes.
3. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds.
4. Strain into a tumbler glass filled with crushed or cubed ice.
