How to Make a Godmother Sour

  1. In a shaker, pour the whiskey, Amaretto, lemon juice, sugar syrup, and egg white (if used).
  2. Shake without ice (dry shake) for 10 seconds to emulsify.
  3. Add ice cubes and shake again for 10 seconds.
  4. Strain into an old fashioned glass filled with ice or into a coupe if served without ice.
  5. Garnish with lemon zest or a few slivered almonds.

Tips & Variations

- For a rounder version, replace sugar syrup with orgeat syrup.
- You can use aquafaba instead of egg white for a vegan version.
