The Rum Melon Cooler – Tropical Green Freshness

The Rum Melon Cooler is a fresh and fruity cocktail, perfect for hot summer days. It combines the sweetness of green melon with the lightness of white rum and the tanginess of lime juice, all topped off with sparkling soda water. A colorful and thirst-quenching drink, ideal for happy hour or a tropical afterwork.

• 5 cl white rum
• 4 cl green melon purée or juice (such as Galia)
• 2 cl fresh lime juice
• 1 cl cane sugar syrup
• 5 cl soda water
• Garnish: melon balls, fresh mint, lime wheel

1. In a shaker, combine the white rum, melon juice, lime juice and sugar syrup.
2. Add ice cubes and shake vigorously for 10 seconds.
3. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice.
4. Top up with soda water.
5. Garnish with melon balls, a mint sprig and a lime wheel.

- For a fruitier twist, add some apple juice or cucumber juice.
- Use basil-infused rum for an herbal note.
- Serve in a frosted glass for extra freshness.
