2 teaspoons brown sugar
4 oz hot coffee
1 oz heavy cream

  • Preheat your Irish coffee glass by filling it with hot water. This will help keep your drink warmer for longer.
  • While your glass is warming up, prepare your hot coffee.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the heavy cream until it is slightly thickened.
  • Discard the hot water from your glass and add in the Irish whiskey and brown sugar.
  • Pour in the hot coffee and stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  • Using a spoon, carefully pour the whipped cream on top of the drink,
  • allowing a small amount to float on the surface of the coffee.
